The Louisville Fire Foundation was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to support the mission of the Louisville Fire Department. The vision of the foundation is to provide resources to those that serve the mission of fire safety, to sponsor, promote, support, and encourage programs in the Greater Louisville area to educate and increase public awareness for the Louisville Fire Department and fire safety. Assisting with sending firefighters to specialty training, providing a benevolence fund for members and their families, hosting community events and fundraisers, and connecting the community with the fire service are just a few examples of work the Foundation supports.
